Our last view of them
While talking to a friend about our grandchildren leaving for 9 months,
she said something to me to make me smile. She mentioned her
grandchild lives in Chicago, and when I said I was going
to have to get used to mine being away, she said...
yes, but yours are coming back.

The trip here to Thailand went really well for us. The kids were wonderful. They didn't fuss on the first leg to Japan (10 hours) and slept the whole time on the 2nd leg to Bangkok (6 hours). The flight attendant of 16 years for United on our 2nd leg even commented that he had never seen such well behaved children (they did sleep the whole time).  Let's just say that we were lucky :-)
 
Anyhow, it's 5am here in the morning and I am wide awake. The kids are sleeping with Stephen in the room.  Hopefully they will stay asleep. This way, they will adjust to the new time zone by tomorrow.
 
We really miss everyone and we'll keep you posted of our adventure to Asia.
